Estimate and Project Agreement Policy
This policy explains how estimates and project agreements work with REMODELIX LLC.
Effective date: June 27, 2026
Estimate requests are preliminary
An estimate request submitted through this website is a preliminary inquiry. A website submission does not guarantee that Remodelix will accept your project.
What we may need
To prepare a meaningful estimate, we may need photographs, measurements, site access, an on-site consultation, or additional details about your project and property.
Estimates can change
An initial estimate is not a final price. It may change if conditions, the requested work, material choices, or the project scope change, or if previously unknown conditions are discovered.
When work begins
Work begins only after the required written agreement, approvals, and payment conditions are completed. The signed agreement — not this website — governs the project. If website information conflicts with the project-specific terms, the signed agreement controls.
Specialized and regulated work
Some work may require appropriately qualified third parties. Regulated trades — such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing systems, or structural work — and any required permits depend on the project and local rules. We will explain when a qualified professional or permit may be appropriate for your project.
Your responsibilities
- Disclose known conditions that could affect the project (for example, prior damage, moisture, or hidden issues you are aware of).
- Provide lawful access to the project area as needed.
- Review and approve scope, materials, and any change orders in writing.
Change orders
Changes to the agreed scope must be documented and approved through a change order, which may affect price and timing.
