Frequently asked questions
Helpful answers about how we work, estimates, scheduling, and what to expect. Don't see your question? Just call, text, or send us a note.
What types of renovation projects do you handle?
Remodelix focuses on home renovation and improvement work — kitchen and bathroom updates, interior renovations, flooring, painting and drywall, carpentry and trim, deck and exterior improvements, and general home improvements. If you're unsure whether your project fits, just ask.
How do I request an estimate?
Use the Request a Free Estimate form on the contact page, or call or text (870) 929-9182. Share what you'd like done, your project location or ZIP code, and a short description, and we'll follow up.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes — requesting an estimate is free. An initial estimate is preliminary and may be refined after an on-site consultation or once project details are confirmed. Final pricing is set in a written agreement.
What information should I include with my request?
The most helpful details are your name, the best way to reach you, the type of project, the project location or ZIP code, and a description of what you'd like done. Photos and rough measurements are a bonus.
Can I text photos of my project?
Yes. You can text photos to (870) 929-9182. Please don't send any payment-card numbers or sensitive personal information by text.
How long does a remodeling project take?
It depends on the size and scope of the work, material availability, and site conditions. We'll give you a realistic sense of timing during planning and confirm scheduling in your written agreement.
Can I stay in my home during the renovation?
Often, yes — many projects allow you to remain in your home. For larger work, certain rooms may be out of use for part of the project. We'll set expectations up front so you can plan.
Who is responsible for selecting materials?
Material selection is collaborative. We'll talk through durable options that fit your goals and budget, and your final choices are documented in the written agreement.
Are estimates final prices?
No. An estimate is a preliminary figure. Final pricing depends on the approved scope, materials, conditions, and other terms, and is confirmed in a written project agreement before work begins.
Do projects require a written agreement?
Yes. Final scope, materials, pricing, payment terms, and scheduling are confirmed in a written project agreement. A website estimate request is not a contract.
What areas do you serve?
Remodelix serves homeowners throughout the broader region we serve. Service availability depends on the project's location, scope, scheduling requirements, and travel distance. Contact us with your project address to confirm whether your location can be accommodated.
How far in advance should I contact you?
Sooner is better, especially for larger projects, since scheduling depends on availability and material lead times. Reach out when you're ready to start planning and we'll discuss timing.
